Originally from Montana, I moved to the Seattle area at age 19 after a car accident that required extensive rehabilitation. I found comfort and support from my peers and instructors at Seattle Massage School as well as great injury treatment and deep tissue work which helped further my recovery and solidified my interest in bodywork. Since graduating in 2000 I have continued my education to include an associates transfer degree in nursing and bodywork modalities such as structural integration, facilitated stretching and neuromuscular reeducation, orthopedic massage, manual lymphatic drainage, advanced injury treatment protocols, craniosacral massage, Lomi Lomi, and Reiki. I use bits and pieces of all these therapies to create a muscle specific deep tissue massage that is both effective and relaxing.
My time away from work is spent furthering my nursing and esthetics education and enjoying time with family and friends.

I hold a certificate of massage from Ashmead College and have over 18 years of experience primarily in my own private practice.
I am an educator; I want you to leave better connected to your body and with knowledge that you can use to support your health or recovery when not in a session.
I am a researcher; I am ever curious and in awe of the human body, and have studied and researched many aspects of human health and experience including: Interpersonal Neurobiology and Neuroscience, injury treatment, somatic experiencing, breathwork, human health practices around the world, trauma recovery, alternative medicine, primal human movement, psychology of the body, meditation and mindfulness, Polyvagal Theory, anatomy and physiology, first aid and CPR, women’s health through their lives, and more. I continue to learn new things from my clients and in the medical field with an eye on supporting you and your unique situation. I will learn you and will continue to adapt to how your body responds best to the work: speed, depth, nervous system regulation, even the music, to make your treatments really your treatment. I respect your autonomy, intuition, and boundaries when it comes to your health and your experience.
I am non judgemental, and welcoming of all of us from all our differing experiences and points of view. You do you!
I communicate throughout the session as I am taking in information from you and your body, and will tell you what I am finding if you so desire! I also am very comfortable in silence when a session calls for zone out relaxation and introverted self care.
